Classwork: Begin researching the social and cultural events of your NHD topic's era (time period). What were people reading/listening to/watching? How did they dress? How were women/children/minorities treated and viewed? What were the big trends from that era? How did popular culture effect your NHD topic? For example, theater and dress greatly effected the French revolution.

On your google docs, make sure you are summarizing what you find and recording the links and books in which you found the information.

Homework: Read 20 pages in your library book on your NHD topic. If you do not have a book yet, read 20 pages online.
